Minimum credits to obtain the title
- 06 (six) subjects attended: 30 (thirty) credits
- English language proficiency
- Publication of Article: 05 (five) credits
- Qualification Exam: 10 (ten) credits
- Research Guidance and Accomplishment: 15 (fifteen) credits in compulsory classroom activities (Project Workshops and Articles).
- Master Thesis: 30 (thirty) Credits
Total credits for obtaining the title: ninety (90)
DEADLINE FOR OBTAINING THE TITLE
Minimum: 24 (twenty-four) months
The qualification should occur until the 24th month.
DOCTORATE
Minimum credits to obtain the title:
- 04 (four) subjects attended: 20 (twenty) credits
- Foreign language proficiency (different from Master's)
- Publication of Article: 05 (five) credits
- Qualification Exam: 10 (ten) credits
- Seminars: 10 (ten) credits
- Research Guidance and Achievement: 75 (seventy-five) credits, of these 15 (fifteen) credits in mandatory face-to-face activities (Project and Article Workshops).
- Doctorate Thesis: 60 (sixty) credits
Important: The activities of "Projects and Articles Workshops" are mandatory and in person. Credits are only awarded upon completion of the stipulated tasks. Verify, as you choose the Search Line, when it will be offered.
All incoming students must enroll in the compulsory subject Scientific and Technological Research Methodology and, during their stay in the Program, in the subject Systems and Processes in Production Engineering.
DEADLINE FOR OBTAINING THE TITLE
Minimum: 36 (Thirty-six) months
Maximum: 48 (fourty-eight) months
The qualification must occur by the 36th month. For PROSUP/CAPES scholarship students, this deadline is by the 30th month due to the expiration of the scholarship.
