Academic Year 2026 (Second semester)

The Graduate Program in Institutional Practices in Mental Health announces the opening of applications for the selection process for Master's level candidates, aiming to fill vacancies for the second semester of the 2026 academic year. The application period is from April 6th to May 29th, 2026.

Applications

Application will be carried out exclusively online.

The candidate must submit the following documents:

  1. Copy of ID card or another nationally valid identification document for Brazilian candidates;
  2. Copy of birth or marriage certificate;
  3. Copy of CPF;
  4. Copy of the academic transcript(s) from undergraduate course(s);
  5. Copy of the undergraduate diploma from a course recognized by the MEC;
  6. Documented curriculum vitae (preferably Lattes, from CNPq);
  7. Project Intention Form, available on the Program's page on the internet, in Selection Process, fully completed and signed.
  8. Application fee of R$ 45.00 (*);
  9. Copy of the application fee payment receipt.
  10. Foreign candidates must also submit:

  11. Copy of the National Migration Registry (RNM) or document proving regular stay in Brazil;
  12. CELPE-BRAS Certificate of proficiency in Portuguese (http://portal.inep.gov.br/acoes-internacionais/celpe-bras). The exam registration receipt may be accepted.
  13. Candidates who completed undergraduate studies at foreign institutions must submit the following documents:

  14. Copy of the academic transcript and diploma of the undergraduate course duly revalidated, according to current legislation, except in the case of international agreements, provided they are incorporated by Brazil.

(*) The application fee must be paid via bank slip generated upon completion of the online application form.
In case of any problem related to generating or paying the slip, it is recommended to contact the Program Secretary directly.

The application fee will not be refunded if the candidate is not approved for any stage of the selection process.

Candidates must send digital copies of the documents, in PDF format, to the email: pgpsicologia@unip.br and wait for the confirmation of receipt. Only legible copies in original sizes will be accepted.
In case of approval in the selection process, all documents must have their originals presented at the time of enrollment.

Applications with partial submission of documentation or illegible documents that do not strictly comply with the provisions of this Public Notice will not be accepted.

The personal data provided by candidates will be used exclusively for the purposes of this selection process for admission to the Program, in accordance with Law No. 13.709/2018 (General Data Protection Law – LGPD).
By registering, the candidate acknowledges that their name may be disclosed in official publications and on the Program's pages, in accordance with the principle of transparency provided for in Article 6, item VI, of the LGPD.

Selection Process

The selection for the Professional Master's in Institutional Practices in Mental Health comprises:

Stage I - Application and Document Submission (Eliminatory)
The application will only be validated upon payment of the bank slip and submission of complete documentation within the stipulated deadline. Validation is done by confirmation email sent to the candidate.

Stage II - Curriculum Analysis (Only for Candidates Approved in Stage I)
Curriculum Analysis (preferably Lattes curriculum).
Analysis of the Project Intention Form DOC regarding:

  1. Contribution of the project to promoting and developing mental health with the target population of the project;
  2. Adequacy of the theoretical foundation of the proposed project;
  3. Ethical adequacy of the project, regarding research involving human beings;
  4. Feasibility of execution within the 24-month period;
  5. Availability of guidance from the suggested advisor.

Stage III - Selection Exam (Eliminatory)
Written Test: Dissertation on a proposed topic in the test, based on the recommended bibliography.
Individual Interview with each candidate.

Calendar

STAGE I - Application and Document Submission
From April 6th to May 29th, 2026.
The application will only be validated upon payment of the bank slip and submission of complete documentation within the stipulated deadline.

STAGE II - Curriculum Analysis
June 3, 2026 (Wednesday), from 2:00 pm onwards - Announcement of candidates approved in Stages I and II.

STAGE III - Selection Exam for Candidates Approved in Stage I
June 13, 2026 (Saturday), from 8:30 am onwards – Written Test and Interview.

Important: The written test and interview will be held in person on the premises of the UNIP Campus in Ribeirão Preto/SP, - Block A - located at Avenida Carlos Consoni, 10, Jardim Canadá.

Selection Result
June 19, 2026 (Friday), from 6 PM – Announcement of approved candidates.
June 22, 2026 (Monday), at 7 PM - Online meeting with approved candidates and the Program Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Paulo Eduardo Benzoni, for course presentation and general information.

Note: The meeting will be held via videoconference using Microsoft Teams. The access link will be sent to approved candidates on June 22, 2026, from 10 AM.

Enrollment

Definitive enrollment must be done in person at the Program Office in the period from July 6th to 17th, 2026, on which occasion the candidate must:

  1. Present the following original documents:
    1. ID Card or another nationally valid identification document for Brazilian candidates;
    2. CPF;
    3. Birth or Marriage Certificate;
    4. Academic Transcript of the Undergraduate Course from a course recognized by the MEC;
    5. Diploma of the Undergraduate Course from a course recognized by the MEC, registered;
    6. 2 recent 3x4 photographs;
  2. Foreign candidates must also submit:

    1. National Foreigner Registry (RNE)/National Migration Registry (RNM) or document proving regular stay in Brazil;
    2. CELPE-BRAS Certificate of proficiency in Portuguese. The exam registration receipt may be accepted.

    Candidates who completed undergraduate studies at foreign institutions must submit the following documents:

    1. Academic transcript and diploma of the undergraduate course duly revalidated, according to current legislation, except in the case of international agreements, provided they are incorporated by Brazil.
  1. Sign the Educational Services Agreement;
  2. Choose the courses to be taken in the semester;
  3. Collect the slip for tuition payment.

Scholarships

Approved candidates who are graduates of an undergraduate course at UNIP will have a 10% DISCOUNT on their tuition fees.
